Looking for a 405gr RN 45-70 bullet mold
« on: May 07, 2019, 03:16:38 PM »
Do any of the bullet mold makers offer a RN 405 grain bullet for the 45-70?  The shape would be similar to the Lyman 457125 - 500 grainer (I have one of these molds).  Lyman offers the 457124 but it is listed as a 385 grain final bullet.  Do these cast heavier than advertised?

Thanks

Lee makes a 405 grain hollow base mold for the 45-70.  I've been using one for several months now and I am very pleased with it.
