What range is the precision rifle and pistol stuff shot at?  It would be nice to sight in previous to the Muster.
Lie to him so the rest of us have a chance! ;) ::) Oh wait, I probably still wouldn't have a chance.

Ned, the precision pistol will be 5 shots at 25 yards on official target. It will be incorporated into a skirmish. Precision rifle will be 15 shots at 100 yards using appropriate targets to mimic 100 200 and 300 yards.

Are the rifle target armor steel?  Also, will 100 rounds of rifle ammo cover everything?

The targets are AR 500 steel. 100 rounds of rifle ammo should be plenty unless you miss a whole lot, which you never do

The Division of Nebraska Muster is  tentatively set for the third Saturday of October (19th) 2019 at 10:00 am.  Planning on two skirmish stages and a  precision pistol and rifle stage. Lunch will be included with the entry fee(20.00 bucks). Free primitive camping at the range if you wish. Shoot is at the Blue River Regulators range in Valparaiso, Nebraska. Directions are at the NCOWS website(ncows.org). Please let me know here if you are planning to attend. Hope to see you there.
Is this information all still correct? I'll bring our entry fees Saturday. Jack are you camping Friday night? I can't but am wondering how early I can arrive.

Jack,
What's the round count for Scout class?

John I counted 47 targets when I was at the range today, not saying all of them will be used.  A fine rifle shot such as yourself should not need a whole lot of extra skirmish ammo. You will need 15 rounds for precision rifle.

It was just the right combination of target difficulty and movement within each stage. Well thought out and downright fun!
The noontime supper was excellent, too.

Thank you Jack and Mike, and Miss Theresa, for your joint efforts.

Thank you to Lt. Col. Quickfire and Major Scotty as well as his better half Miss Theresa!

I really enjoyed the match! My Dog Robber J. Dawg commented how much he enjoyed the match and for the first time in his life he out shot the old man! (but then I think everybody did!)

It was a beautiful day, and an interesting and well run match. I'm looking forward to the next one!

Once again Jack, Mike and Theresa served up a good time good friends and good food.  I know it's a lot of work to put a shoot on and I would like to say THANK YOU.

Let me add a special thanks to Whiskey Double for the loan of a box of ammunition when it became apparent mine was going to give me trouble in the rifle. I am constantly humbled by the generosity of fellow shooters in this sport in general.
It was greatly appreciated.
