Winchester 1887 extractor questions?
« on: October 02, 2018, 07:20:56 PM »
I recently bought a Winchester 1887 12 gauge made in 1887.  It is missing the extractor, plunger and spring.

I've checked every part supplier and watching on eBay.  I've checked with an old scrounger but not found one yet.

I do see that the parts are available for the Chiappa clone of the 87.  Has anyone uses the Chippa (or Chinese clone) parts on an original 1887?

Should I find a left extractor for the 1901, is it the same as uses on the 1887?

Thanks,

Those parts worked on my 1901. I'm pretty sure they are the same as the 1887.

Thanks!

I'm trying to get an order in to Chiappa but their online order system truly sucks.  I finally got to the point when I submit the order and it does nothing.  It says in read letters to wait for a response but I've not gotten one in 6 hours of waiting.

I got my parts from Taylors, try them.
