The JBMM is over.  We had a great time but El Nino visited again this year and it was muddy, not as muddy as the year of the Great Flood though.  I hope everyone who attended had as good a time as we did.

How could there be?  You did not come.
It has been wet all fall, typical El Nino.  We had about an inch of rain on Wednesday, by Saturday it was sort of dry, but there was a lot of standing water and plenty of mud Thursday for target set up, and we could not use the long range over on the "battlefield".  Saint Bryan,  Bryan Buck the patron saint of the Berger Sharpshooters, brought his utility vehicle and we were able to use it to get the targets put out and picked up on Saturday.  Many thanks to Bryan and Caroline for all they do.  Friday was really muddy but not as wet and slick as the last time you attended. (The tail end of the last El Nino)

Being stuck in Florida ( as was the case )  but I would have relished to go again even if I'm STUCK in Tejas  :D
still one of the best events I've had the pleasure to attend....even with the deluge and mired in 8" mud.
