Very nice major.  Wish I had the luck/money.

Just got back in from bowling.  First time I've been to a bowling alley since the one at home closed in '08.  I didn't do too badly.  I bowled a 56 (doesn't count.  That was my warm up :P), a 98 and an 87.  Not perfect, but passable.

It is still raining here.  Locals tell me it's normal, but the yucca plants I was walking through tell me it's less common than some would let on.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are ready.

Strange how things work out....

On Thursday, I cut a deal with my FFL to purchase a consignment Colt 380 Government, BUT ! seems his wife had sold it pending payment
just a few hours before...and had not as yet mentioned it to Ted  :(

Ted was apologetic, as he was kinda sad to have to tell me.... But he said, maybe he could make it up for it
and shows me a Colt 2nd Gen. 1st model Dragoon ...had just come in Today ( Sat. morning )
I appraised it for him, ( Ted's not that up on such guns).
I have one, so it was not really in my wheel house, but my buddy ( who was meeting there as we do on Saturday's prior to lunch,)
was and bought it... :)  total time ; it was 45 minutes in the shop !

Ted then say's " hey did I show you this ".....  BANG !   me  ...."UMMM NO you did not ! "

Colt 1849 Pocket ...model all matching numbers  40% remaining silver plate on TG & Guard ...
It came home with me  ;)
Nice.

Horses are home.
Shooting sports today. Bringing chickens and everything else home today.

'Tis 52 and overcast. High of 80.

Saw the almond thing before.  Bad about Ian, losing them fast.

Been in the land of lousy wireless, had cell phone but no net since Friday afternoon.

Blacksmith deal at the Summerfield museum my friends own.  Friend from OK brought his new/old chuckwagon up.

Pictures later, rained all day today, got maybe 2-3 inches.  Took us about 4 hours to load between downpours.  Ran heater all the way home, just changed shirt and it other damp before I left, should have changed from the skivives on out.  Wouldn't have taken much to hypthermate today.  Was close there at the end getting Mary and Ron loaded.

Evening all.

Currently 55 and raining at 1845 here in Billings.  That hasn't changed since last night.  Had a real good thunderstorm roll through at 5am.  Rattled the windows for a good 15 minutes.

First day of class today.  Had history and Ground School.  Tomorrow I have psychology, a business class and flight lab.  Same schedule wed-thirs-fri.  Saturday I just have flight school.  Rinse and repeat through December.

There is a Great Harvest a couple blocks from the school that I just found today.  I thought about stopping, but I was on my way home from shopping.  Maybe tomorrow.

I had three new classes today.  But, I got a bunch of FAA paper work done, and officially have a student pilot certificate. Yay me.

I also learned the one of my professors was going Air Force One on 9/11.  That's kind of cool.

Never understood calling something that wasn't green and leafy a salad.  Mom always called it minced chicken. ;D

It is because it is not just chicken in it.
