Hi Buck  ;)

Sorry for the miss-understanding.  I knew/know were the Rifles were in the Rail Car.  Also knew bout the pair of handguns.  What I want to know is:  WHERE ARE the RIFLES ..... NOW!!  They have to be somewhere.  Someone had to have them.  Or perhaps the modern iteration of the UP has the rifles inna SAFE somewhere.  Where is that SOMEWHERE???  Weak and feeble minds want to know!!

It would be impossible to know if those two Winchesters were UPRR marked ( chances are they are not),  so maybe my rifle is one of them.  No one will ever know.  Always fun to wish and wonder.

I believe there is a collecting sub-set that deals in Railroad Company and Railway express marked guns.  Years ago, I i knew  collector that had an arsenal of those marked guns.

I think that my 1866 might be an original Union Pacific RR gun.  It has a "U" symbol on it (see below).  What do you think?  ;)

Yea.  We've managed to hi-jack this one to "way over there" somewhere.  Sorry 'bout that (maybe)  ;)
