Military class?
« on: April 17, 2018, 10:07:13 AM »
Has anyone thought of creating a military class? One pistol and one single shot breechloader. 10 or 15 shots total, etc?

What do 'you' think the Grand Army of the Frontier is all about?

Scenarios can be and are written to replicate all manner of conditions and weaponry - look deeper.

If you're lucky enough to be involved with a CAS club that has creative free thinking members propose a Military category there. At the very least you might be able to shoot against yourself. Work with the stage designer, buy some rifle rated AR500 and allow the club to use it. When we do our SpanAm match the boltgunners use dedicated rifle targets while the Cas guys use their regular cas rifle targets. But my club also allows DA revolvers and 1911s at our monthly shoots. WASA rules. I propsed a mil cat to SASS before WB was established to no avail. Maybe when enough people have left the sport SASS will broaden their palette. Good luck.

Hi,

Well, in spite of being "Captain Obvious", you DID come to the right place.  What state are you in?  There are two Musters coming up in Colorado in August (right?), and the Grand Muster in Nebrasky at the end of June.  You get to bring 60 rifle rounds and 20 pistol rounds per stage.  Had a great time last year.
