Morning all.

45 and sun in California.  Had a surprise freeze last night, but my beans seem to be okay.

Got multiple loads of laundry going today.  When that's done, I'll be packing my bags, then I'm going squirreling.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are hot.

Job interview this morn.

'Tis 29 and overcast. "Cloudy. Light snow likely in the afternoon. Snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Highs in the middle 30s. Northeast wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of snow 70 percent."

Morning all.

Cloudy today in California.  50 degrees in the city, 40 at home.

Got garlic and a jalapeno planted yesterday.  Don't know if they'll grow, but I'm giving it a go.

I'm currently sitting in the parking lot at sportsman's Warehouse waiting for my dad to get it off a meeting.  Then, as Jerry Reed eloquently put it, we're going to be east bound and down.  Hope to make twin falls tonight.  We'll stop in Reno for an early dinner at Cabela's, and I'm going to grab my "high capacity magazine clip that shoots 30 calibers a second." Aka, a standard capacity AR mag, then we're on our way.

Got this one done today, taking it to work and giving it to a co-worker I like.

One of the ones I made from a brick saw blade.

A style I like, good butcher knife, no belly for skinning like many styles but better for boning.

Wood is fairly plain Old World/English Walnut with some staining.    Linseed oil finish.

Blade was given a patina with non-iodized salt and vinegar to help prevent rusting.

The Micha knife should be done by the weekend.

Let me give you a traveling tip.. the State of Montana has no “sales taxes”. They are also very firearm friendly. Cabela’s cool, but saving money is better.

Slim thanks for Coffee - best wishes on interview today..
what kind of chick feed do you use

DuMor is the brand at Tractor Supply. Big Gain is the brand we get from the Amish.

I'll toss on some water for the night crew.
I'm Burley Idaho for the night.  Then up early and on our way.

Morning y'all.
Coffee and tea are hot.

Spend 2 hours shoveling sn*w away from the shed so it doesn't flood inside when it thaws.

'Tis 25 and sunny. High of 46.

Sounds like TK is taking the road less Traveled... of course that is most roads out there :D

Up and trying to get my self healing from.... not doing too well at it.  I may end leaving work a year sooner than planned.  I may spend less time doing things i love, hunting- fishing -shooting -growing things, plants and animals. But my faith keeps me fighting. I tried living with out the Lord.  I know if i had not recieved him as i have. I would not have a seat  in his house. Thank you all allowing me to say this here. I pray all you here, if you have not found Christ, that you do so. It has changed my life abd i know it will change yours too.

Thanks for the coffee. Thanks for a place to sound off.
