Could Use Some Prayers

Howdy pards,

Looks like my dad just had a stroke, to make matters worse he is refusing to go to the ER or let my mom or I call 911. Since he is conscious  the paramedics would have to respect his wishes if he refuses treatment. I am about ready to render him unconscious, but I don't think a blow to the head would help a stroke patient.

Prayers would be appreciated.

Most definitely praying now.  Please keep us updated when you can (knowing that you have higher priorities at this point).

Morning all,

Thanks for the prayers, he was up last night moving around, still weak. Wanted fudgecicles so I ran to the store. Hopefully we can get him to go see someone today.

Between this and some news about ex-girlfriend and kids on OK, my birthday was a mess. I did get my computer rebuilt/reconfigured though, I just need to finish that up today.

You folks have my prayers.

I can relate to difficult patients.  I lost my wife to her bullheadedness.  Every day I wish I had just done what needed to be done.  Believe me when I say I'll never let that happen again.
