Sunny and 58 here. Plan for doing outdoor stuff today. Tractors, hay, chainsaws and logs involved. I'm sure one of the vehicles needs a "710" change, but no plan to do it today. Might have time to try out the .45 I was gunsmithing on last weekend.

I hope you're satisfied M2, you made me google. And learn another useless word that I'll never use.

Evening all.

Well, I can add 2018 to the list of gun shows I have perused.  Managed to get out without buying anything but raffle tickets.  I'll find out tomorrow if $2 was enough to win me a Henry Golden Boy 22.

After I left the show, I went to a smaller gun shop where they know my name and looked over their stock post-Florida.  Surprisingly, the only thing not in stock were Sig P229 and Glock 29. They were regards a sale, so I grabbed an $8 box of Remington buckshot for $5, but had to pass on the $90 AR upper receiver.
I then went to sportsman's and scored a box of 150 5.56 green tips for $60, regular price $89.

Unfortunately my luck didn't hold for the trip home, where I lost fourth gear in the truck.  On the bright side, it didn't happen while I was on the road trip to Montana I've been planning.

Not really a group, a way Terry Lane figured out how to use our state outdoor education center and let people have some winter fun.
