Arrangements have been made with Super 8 motel in Elizabethown, KY for motel rooms for the 2018 Eastern regional Sept. 27, 28 and 29, 2018. Phone number is 270-737-1088. Rates will be $85 per night. Reservations must be made by Sept. 10, 2018. Mention that you are attended the NCOWS Eastern Regional for the discount. The Banquet will be at Marks' Feed Store on Saturday night.

We will have registration forms up on our website www.jcrangers.org in June after the Nationals.

If your planning to attend it might be a good idea to make motel reservations early as there will be a large soccer tournament going on the same week and motel rooms will be going fast.

I have an update on the road into the Bucksnort range for the regional.
The rains in March were not good to it. It is good to go for cars and trucks, but travel trailers might be a bit sketchy.
Those of us from JCR who rough it in our campers are going to make reservations in one of these camp grounds just in case the county doesn't get the road in good enough shape to pass with travel trailers.

Just a reminder to let everyone know that the road into the range may not be passable for camp trailers by the regional, it's ok for cars and trucks but the county is dragging their feet on making one area passable for rv's.

The RV park in Elizabethtown is booked full the week of the regional

Rooms are going fast in the area in general, so if anyone is planning to attend they may want to make reservations at what ever motel they want to stay at.

Hope to see a bunch of you make it.

Well, crap. I have to have shoulder reconstruction surgery on the right side. It has not been scheduled yet, and may end up putting me out of shooting at the Ima Sureshot. But Mark and I will be there anyway.

Joe, They supposedly did some work on the road so we'll stay in touch to find out if it is passable for RV's. If so some of us will be camping on site but there is no water or electric. It's dry camping with generator.

Just to let everyone know, the road into Bucksnort range has been repaired and is in good condition for campers. So unless we get another big rain between now and the match we are good to go.

Well, it's 3 weeks out until the regional.
The last date to get the discounted room rate is September 10.
If you haven't sent your registration in it might be best to register on site.
Looks like the round count for the main match, if you are a 4 gun shooter is 90 rifle, 100 pistol and 24 shotgun. Bring extra for side matches, cowboy trap and what you'll need for long range.
At last count we had 34 preregistered shooters.
