Ithica Flues rebuild
« on: January 20, 2018, 06:32:03 PM »
A buddy asked me to restock his double barrel and I got cared away some. Repaired the action then lifted some dents from the barrels. With new wood I figured color case hardening the action and a good cold blue ( Oxpho Blue ) was in order.

Thanks guys, and for Professor Marvel a closer look to include some tools I've done. The simple one is for working on Stevens 311 and is the first thing I ever case colored. The goofy looking one is one I just made for working on a L C Smith that I'm starting on.

Beautiful work. I see that you already made the L C Smith cocking wrench. They should have shipped one with each gun.

I am not particularly enamored with this Ithica.  Primarily because it's NOT MINE!!  Absolutely OUTSTANDING!!  Some would even go so far as to say DELICIOUS.

Ann-Margret was DELICIOUS too .. also .. yum
