1896 Krag Carbine
« on: October 05, 2016, 04:03:38 pm »
Gentlemen!  Here's a couple of pictures of the 1896 Krag Carbine the Quartermaster Sergeant issued himself.  I know, the rear sight and hand guard aren't correct, but everything else seems to be.  It even had the oiler and cleaning rods in the butt trap!

It's actually Coy's carbine, and I'm sure he WILL put it to good use!  He's been buying brass and he's getting ready to put it through a workout.

Very nice. Wood finish looks good, even though incorrect.

From what I can tell, everything is right except he sight and hand guard.  Anyone got an 1896 Carbine sight sitting in a drawer?

No kidding!  I keep hoping PRVI or Starline starts making it.
