As a long time advertiser, I am not happy.  I was asked to submit any new copy for my ad in the Summer issue and did so about two weeks before the deadline.  Within a few days after, I received my proof, which I okayed.  I expected to get my invoice within a short period of time as I usually did, but after waiting several weeks, I gave them a call only to find out that they had closed the doors.  The lady I talked to, although very nice and helpful, could not give me any info on my ad and no one was left in the building who could help me out.  So I just sat back and waited.  Within another couple of weeks I did in fact get my invoice and a tear sheet showing my ad had been printed in the Summer issue.  Center right, page 7.  I paid my invoice and never heard another word.  I waited for my copy of the magazine, but never received it.  Called again and talked to the same lady and she was kind enough to look for a complete Summer issue, but came back and said that none were available.  She suggested that I buy one at the news stand.  Oh well.

That explaines why I have not seen it. I actually thought it could have been some anti-gun thing with the stores.

Luckily, it sounds like someone else picked it up and is going to start up publishing soonish. I saw a Facebook post from Mr. Beliveau where he mentioned having a few orders for the new 'Guns of the Old West.'

Got my new copy in the mail yesterday. They are back.

Howdy all,

I just wanted to confirm that somebody has picked up Guns of the Old West.  The last issue I have is summer 2016.  I have not seen the Fall issue appear at any of the news stands I used to be able to pick it up although I have not made the trip out to the local bookstore to check there.  I know some folks mentioned getting a new issue this month so I just wanted to make sure it was the fall issue before I start driving all over town to look for it.  Also is there any new contact information?  If I can't find it locally, I will just have to break down and subscribe but am not sure about the old contact info.

I just bought the "Fall 2016" issue, at the local Wally World book rack. It's from the new publisher. Can't see any difference in it. Maybe they just reorganized, under belly up rules., but any way, its back.
