For a Hex, thats not too bad.  Yes, I remember when they were $99, but those days are long gone.  I've had good luck with Classic.  I'd reccomend the Izvesk Dragoon.

;D  don't we all  .... remember  ::) best not think about that ....A friend of mine has a $99 Tula Mosin Nagant guess he had it some 15 years or so ....

my Izvesk Nagant pistol was on the upward helix by the time I desired to spring for one  ...I recall $99 on the too just few years a go , saw them head up thru $159 and beyond , now I see over $300 asking prices.

Izvesk Dragoon is my choice as well , mostly because my pistol is an Izvesk , "may"haps rarer  :-\

Go for it! I have an ex-Dragoon with a Hex receiver, and I love it. I'll need to take it shooting soon, great rifle.

The time has passed so quick, the years all run together now.

Considering the prices now, that is not to bad.  I remember buying my first of several 91/30s for $89.00 from Big 5 Sporting goods.

Yep, decent round reciever wartime rifles are now running in the 260 range or so.   Shoulda bought a crate full 5 years ago . . .

Everything does that.  I realized the other day I have  1886, 1894, and 1895 Winchesters, all full length rifles, and I don't have $1500 in all three put together.  The '86 was the expensive one at $700!
