I have a USFA Sheriff's model, nickel, 7 1/2" barrel, 38 spl, 27XXX. American made or Italian?

You ought to post this on the USFA board.  27XXX serial number is probably all American made.  Does it have a cone shaped firing pin like a 1st Gen Colt?  7 1/2 Sheriff's model is probably a one of a kind made by USFA.
