However, just peruse YouTube videos & almost all load them by dropping the ctgs.  ::)  I see Uberti's point from a liability standpoint.

Very good artical and i understand the reasons why Uberti have done this but i want a replica of a Steel Frame Henry not a race gun with short strock kit, layer proof safties. ;D
i do use flat nose projectiles of the new much flater design which should stop the projectile primer contact, also when loading ii check all my primer seating.
The eraser will be removed as soon as I can find a bit of brass to fit the hole.

Having experienced a mag explosion personally, the eraser might be a good thing to keep. My culprit was a high primer, and resulted in 4 cartridges going off. Pretty scary.

High Primer.
I shot two weeks ago and heard so many squib loads and primers going off i could not belive it.
Shooting is for people who think.
When i load my ammo boxs i run my finger over all the round again to check.

What bugs me is that they think i am stupid and These guns are not cheep and i have to spend time getting them to were i wont them.
cut my thumb open on the top of the magazine yesterday, they had not rounded the edge. Can i take leagal action against them for time and a reblue :'(.

I like these guns and have a few of them the old one are the best, had to nothing to them. $2200.

;DOn the positive it shoots very well, BP loads at 100m a 8 inch plate rings all day, once i stoped the bleeding.
