Oddities amongst us

Curse you, Zooty ones, for giving me another excuse to bring home oddities, orphans, and other unwanteds. (IE, cheap!)  Had one of these follow me home for the holidays:

Mine is the longer, heavier Troop version.

That looks like a good companion for your Berthier for an Expansion Era match.

Awesome, Star and Astra made some very interesting automatics, I really like the lines of yours.  I greatly enjoy an Astra 600 and someday I want an Astra 900 as a companion for my SCW surcharged M91 Mosin rifle.

Its an interesting piece.  Its designed to be carried by a cavalryman or officer in the LEFT hand.  The controls are all oriented for the left hand, leaving the right free for sabre or lance. It even ejects to the left.  A truly sinister handgun . . .

Picked up one of these off GunBroker.  Mine is the 2nd Varient, 32 acp, approx 1916, with WW1 German occupation markings.  Got a good deal from a pawn shop that really did not know what it was!  Snappy little shooter.
