It's a known cosmic principle
accordingly, each person is rewarded or punished  according to that person's deeds ....

So you did a good deed and did the PE living history for the kids and the rain held off....  good karma !
But , remember that browser that asked " if the hat made him look like a dork ? "
I think your answer was " No ...it wasn't the hat "

So, you got your reward.... blown radiator hose   :( , however there was the " friend seeing the hood up "

so not so bad .... :-\

karma ... designed to keep us humble  ;D

Everything is waterlogged around here. We are going to miss all of this rain when it gets hot and dry this Summer. I had some cold cereal with my Cawffee.

Cold cereal here as well.

The park just doesn't like my Boss to take time off. Last year he left for three or four days and we had a big water leak( ended up with a 7 ft. hole on that one). He's in Vegas right now, and, of course, we've got a water leak. Hoping to hold off on this one until he gets back Wednesday. I did manage to find the in ground shut off for the home, but according to the owner, it may not be working as the last time something had to be done, they shut the water down with the main trunk valve which cut off a large section of homes ::) :-\ :P
I might be slow, but I'm mostly accurate.....

Had three boilt eggs cuz I forgot ta get sausage yestitty.

Coffee from the new machine. Kinda neat. Put water in it, grounds in the basket. Slide the lid on 'n put it on the cook top. When it starts spurtin' water/coffee inta the l'il glass ball on the top ya turn the burner off 'n just let it sit there. It'll quit inna few minutes. Get's cold put it in a cup 'n stick it in the microwave. These people come up with these new gadgets while we sleep.

Rain here but the temp's just right. Them at the track's sayin' it's rainin' in Richmond too. Oh well....

Checked the rain gauge just now, and found we have accumulated a grand total of 1/2 in. over the last three days.  It’ started raing this morning while the sprinkler system was on, but stopped just after it finished it’s cycle.

The burgers were good last night, tonight it’s going to be grilled steak with baked tater and garlic bread.  We’ll probably get the last of today’s rain while I’m out grilling the streaks.

She Who Still Works got up early this morning (she normally sleeps in on Saturdays) to go to the DMV when it opened.  She wanted to re-register her car, as she paid it off.  As she was leaving I told her I’d see her about noon.  She called a little later to tell me she would be awhile, as there were about 200 people ahead of her.  I told her she needed to be there about midnight with a canopy and a lawn chair.

Russ T., I never re-register mine, I just staple the lien release to the title, leave it until it's sold, or for some other reason needs to be registered again(Actually, where most of my cars end up, it doesn't matter, either "rusting in peace" on the back forty, or smashed flat in the scrap yard. When I'm done with one, it's pretty well used up).

Last week, I had to renew 2 pickups, 1 motorcycle, and my drivers license, I was in-and-out in about 20 minutes, another reason for living away from the big cities!

I don’t know why she felt the need to re-title (her bad, as she was the one who said re-register. I think she just has this thing about making the paper work balance), but she just called and said she was on the way home.  As it is now 11:37 Reno time, I’m thinking my noon is going to be pretty close!

I renew my Pickups on line, My Handgun Permit on line, and My Driver's license on line. The only thing that I can't do on line is the State Vehicle Safety Inspection(yearly).

BTW it is still OK to bring a gun to school if the Principal gives his OK, but just for educational purposes.    ;D  Click on picture.

on the other end of the spectrum, I've heard of boys being expelled for biting their sandwich or Pop Tart  in the shape of gun  :o
One recently pointed his finger and said bang  ::)

your Kids seemed to love it, course anything that out of the norm and got you out of the class was well received.

both Dr. Licence & CWC permit are renewed by mail ... tag(s) and the decal too, can be as well ... but both my cars are the same month
(tied in to my birthday)... but you can also get them either at the DMV or the Tax Collector office if you rather.
I think you get the decals 5 years in row for the same Tag , then a new tag & decal the 6 year.
and only one tag is needed , no front tags required....
The Tax collector has offices in St. Cloud ( and Kissimmee ) and seldom more than a 3 -5 person wait.

Florida did away with auto inspections 35 or more years a go  :)

Have a roast in the big Red one w/ carrots, onions & taters.

Difference between small town Great Plains (In this case the edge of the Kansas Flint Hills) and some place full of liberal yuppies driving Priuses.

Had the lard for the biscuits right out in plain site and got praised by some of the teachers and 7th and 8th grade students for using it.

Missouri went to 2 years at a time for registering and inspecting several years ago. They also dropped inspections for new cars, which was pretty silly in the first place. Not that I ever have any that are new enough to not need inspection.
