I have studied posts all over, but I am not quite sure about it. So I dare to ask:

Is it only the Winchester mod 97 pump action shotgun which is allowed in CAS?

Or can also these copies be used:
Norinco mod 97

IAC mod 97

Cimarron mod 97

The important thing is that it is a 97 shotgun, old original or new clones matters not just as long as it is a 97 and no other vintage pump.

Any Model 97, original or clone, non-military configuration, 16 or 12 gauge. This is for SASS. I'm sorry, but I am not familiar with NCOWS rules.

I says here that these replicas are not allowed in cowboy matches, what is up with that? See: http://sassnet.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=215605

No, what it says is the 93/97 shotgun is not allowed.  That particular shotgun has an enlarged ejection port, which is a not allowed external modification.  The 93/97 is legal for "Wild Bunch" matches which have different rules from SASS "Cowboy" matches.
