Boot dressing

I bought a pair of the Fort Frontier brown boots a while back. I really don't want to polish or shine them with regular shoe wax, but would like some kind of dressing to protect the surface and repel water.
What works for you?

'Danner Boot Dressing' or 'Pecards Leather Dressing' work nicely - as does Kiwi's 'Neutral' shoe polish.
None are 'colored' and do a fine job in caring for my leather - all of it.
If I want to polish something - I'll use 'Proppert's' or 'Justin's Boot Creme' - since the cream-style polish doesn't tend to build up and it 'feeds' the leather.
Scouts Out!
