Checkered Scofield grips (Uberti)

I'm looking for checkered grips for my Schofield .  Wood be nice but probably not available.  I found Buffalo Brothers;  is there another source?

Checking on the grips of a S&W Schofield are not a standard feature.
There may have been some that were Checkered later in life, but not during their production life.

It's not a lot of wood to checker, ask a gunsmith to do it for you on the existing grips or on a set you buy for it.  Heck, I bet there is more than one qualified guy on these boards that could do it.

Be careful what you wish for!  I have some checkered "gunfighter" grips that were intended to live on my Vaqueros.  They chaffed so much that they were cascaded down to the Single Six.
