Moderators Help Needed?

I would first off, like to thank The Marshal & Marshal'ette for giving me the opportunity to have my own forum at CAS City & for giving me the chance to be a Moderator there as well.  As this is my first experience with this sort of thing, I am asking all Moderators who are willing, to help guide me & direct me in the methods of being a good Moderator.

We all know from past experience with this old cowboy, that I don't have the best patience & at times, can get a little over bearing on what I say or how I react to certain situations.  I am working very hard to curb this & become a good ol' boy who will be fair, listen to critisism, take all serious comments & advice to heart and be a credit to CAS & CAS City, rather than a pain in the butt or a hinderance to the sport.

I'm new at this as I am sure you all were at one time or another.  If you all will be so kind as to help this cowboy out, I will make you all proud & I hope that one day I can change those minds that see me in a different light.

Please email me or PM me with any advice or how to's, and you can even post here, iffn' I look like I'm headed down the wrong path.  I thank you all for your time in this matter.

You are a lucky moderator, because a special interest group is really not about moderating topics like here in the Longbranch or boards that has a more wide field of interest.

Seems to me you are doing a fine job with the PWDFR group. If you have any questions, send me, Marshal'ette or other moderators a PM.

Badlands...congrats on the PWDFR forum and your moderators status!  Seems as though you're doing a fine job over there.   Welcome and even though I'm very new at this myself PM me anytime if you have any questions or if I can be of any help.  :D

Marshal H.  I am indeed a lucky Moderator & it's because of you & Marshal'ette.  Thank you for this opportunity!  I am lucky as well, that I don't have to moderate all types of subjects & such cuz that is simply a job I would not want.  I admire those of you who do it, cuz I would never make it!

OK.

I think you're heading down the wrong path.

You'll ruin your bad boy image for sure with this moderator stuff....an image that no doubt took years and years to properly cultivate.   And for what?
