Long range at Berger Regional in Texas
« on: August 25, 2013, 07:26:37 PM »
For the Berger Regional Match this October:

We will have a "shooting gallery" style long range big bore match.

90 seconds to fire as many shots as you can for "points".  Targets will be 100 to 200 yards.  Targets further out will be worth more "points".

I expect most shooters will need 15 to 25 cartridges. Bring more if think you can load fast. No spotter shots.

Divisions will be single shot and repeater.  Repeater may stoke the magazine prior to the clock start.

We will have a shooting bench or shooter may fire from any safe shooting position, including cross sticks.  A pair of "sitting length" cross sticks will be available.  Cross sticks must be made of period materials.

Time permitting, we will run this again on Friday with pistol caliber rifles.

Wanted to post this early so folks can sight their rifle and prep their loads.
