Per your request he may use the Police Special for the EoE match.  Or He may use my Army Special, which would look better and might be easier to handle.

Would anybody be able to film the Muster? Major Strong did it a year ago, but he will be busy at least for part of the match with the Gatling Gun.

For the gatling stage, will the .45 be provided, or should we bring a box of 50? 250gr? smokeless?

I was going to ask about that, too....Does the Gatling have a preferred load?

GAF has definitely been hard on my gun budget.  In the last year I've bought three Krag's.  All are shooters, not collectors.  Each one better than the previous one.  Now, I don't need three.  The first was a 98 NRA style carbine.  The second a full length refinished 96 rifle and the last a 99 carbine that I think started life as a rifle but it looks great from a distance of a few feet.  Not sure what I want to keep but I should know by the muster.  I'll bring them all with me.

I also found a matted framed print of "The Defence of Rorke's Drift" (attached below) at an estate sale and bought it.   It has a Cherry frame and doesn't fit in the room I thought I would hang it in.   May still hang it in the living room but someone else has a say in that decision as well.

Yes, each participant will be provided with one magazine full of ammunition for the Gatling. If you wish to shoot it more than just during that stage, I will have ammunition available ( I reloaded over 7,000 rounds of .45 LC last winter) or you can bring your own.

Bat, if you have a mind to, that print would make a great prize donation. PM me.

My thought exactly!   ;D

(I am donating some prints of 19th-century U.S. military uniforms, but this would certainly loved by at least one member of the "British Empire Contingent" ... ;) )

Col. Pitsptr,  I was informed this evening that Col. Diamond will not be attending the GAF Grand Muster this year. I know that I speak for many that he shall be greatly missed.

Sorry if this has been answered before, but will we need a bayonet for any of the stages?
