M-1885 holster
« on: February 16, 2012, 05:48:58 PM »
Anyone have a source for an M-1885 holster in Russet Brown? David Carrico is the only source I've found, unfortunately he's encountered some health problems and can't be certain when he'll be up to working again.

Thanks.

Get ahold of Jim Barnard aka Trailrider of Trailrider products.  He is a member of this forum and GAF and builds extremely excellent and authentic frontier military leather.

That original is a nice one and I'd say worth the money, but too nice to use much.

I made four in the process of making the Captain's. Two rights and two lefts. He has a right. Anyone want any of the others? One of the lefts is for the 5 1/2" barrel.

I am sure they can be died black.

I wish I'd seen this post before we talked an hour ago, Doug.
