A few single actions
« on: August 30, 2010, 07:08:51 PM »
I don't post here to much but I read the forum a lot so for those off you who enjoy theses things.....a couple pics. The matched 45's are the guns I shoot the most. The other pic is a few Collt saa's and a pair of Smith and wesson Schofields.

Very nice indeed!  Is that factory engraving on them Colts?  If not... who did it?

Thanks guys. No...it's not factory engraving. I have a friend in Arizona who did them for me. He does it part time so he is very limited in the number of customers he has. I'm hoping he'll turn to full time because as you can see he's very talented. As soon as I get the load worked out for the Schofields I'm sending those to him along with a couple Model 29's I think. You can't have to many Colt Saa's for sure.

Great Collection for sure and the engraving on those Colts sure looks awesome.  And IVORY, I soo love Ivory!  Great thanks for sharing with us.

Engraved Colts with one-piece ivories...  It doesn't get any better than that!  Very nice.

Case hardening looks more like Turnbull than Colt.
