Gentlemen, If any of you are coming to the Department of the Missouri Muster, you can probably expect to lose a few rounds of brass during the shoot and move stages. I always use my oldest, raggedy brass for matches, and my good stuff for practice.
I used to pick up odd lots of Krag brass off Ebay before they went Marxist. You shouldn't lose too many, but I've seen some people treat brass like it's the Holy Grail. (Of course, if you shoot something like a .577-450, it's about the same price!)
