CAS City PC "Lockup"
« on: January 09, 2009, 09:17:41 PM »
CAS City seems to "lock up" on my PC at least 50% of the time lately. Is the site being hammered with traffic?  ???

I have been having the same trouble with lockup as FCK. Don't know about the cookies on the pc but I had some very nice homemade chocolate chip cookies today! I will have to ask my computer guru about the pc cookie buildup.

That's not it. I dump my "cookies" every day. I think the site's server must be getting hammered.

I was away from the comp for 3 days, but before that, as now, I've had no problems.

The trail boss has been doing some up-grades on the site.  Post any problems in this forum:

http://www.cascity.com/forumhall/index.php/board,39.0.html

that he has provided for the purpose of addressing problems.  The Marshall is often busy and does not always get around to checking all the forums.  This one he keeps good track of. ;)

From time to time, high traffic can cause the forum to slow down. When this happens, he only thing to do is to wait, normally these "slowdowns" last for a couple of minutes.
