Incredible and thanks for sharing. I wish the "makers' would produce an American or First Model Russian. It is the only revolver left of the "big three" not produced.

"They" need to make a DA .44.  And while they are at it;  make the parts interchangable with the originals.  That way I could fix my broken original. :(

I've been asking fir a first model Russian (Same gun, different caliber) for years.  EMF was working on one a year or so back, but Uberti (I believe they were to be the maker) seems to have cut off the distributors.  I have no idea if the project is still alive, but I'd take a pair of 8" nickled 1st Russians in a heartbeat.
