went down to the local Sizzlin Sirloin,  chicken fried steak, mashed taters,   green beens,  corn,  little fried okra and a little salad, got the birds all checked for the evening, just sit down and relax a little  :D

Evenin' folks.  I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving.  I stuffed my belly on Thursday and have been in rehab for the rest of the weekend.

:D :D :D

Howdy, pards. I'm back from the match. It was a mixed bag. My new contact lens prescription was good. I could see the sights better than before. I did fine except for picking up a stray piece of lead on my earlobe. It bled as though someone had cut my throat. It was 44° and my hands and ear were so cold I couldn't tell where it was bleeding so I could stop it. I just managed to make a real mess fumbling with it. One of the other shooters finally saw me soaking up a white towl and slapped a bandaid on it to stop the mess. I totally hosed one stage, 4 misses and a procedural. Good thing they can't give you two procedurals on the same stage or I'd have had 'em.  ;D  Our friends stopped by the match just in time to witness the carnage. I made up for it on the next stage but not good enough to place anywhere noteworthy. They really liked watching. It looks like we'll have another CAS shooter or two soon. One of our guests from Holland came also and really liked the whole thing. It's a good day. ;)

Plenty of crackers and water.  I feel much better.

I was very productive this weekend.  I finally put the sticker on my license plate after only five months... and I didn't even need a warning to do it.  First time in a few years. ;D

I placed an order with Circuit City over the phone this weekend.  It was cheaper than buying from the store.  In this day of the internet, I don't understand why people want to get themselves out of bed so early on Friday. ???  There are some "Doorbuster" and store-only deals to be had, but they are becoming rarer and rarer.

I firmly believe my order was screwed up.  I called back twice to make sure and I got the same story every time, which doesn't match what was written.  This wasn't a surprise, but each time I called, I talked with a different Indian.  I'm kind of curious what will arrive in the package. ::) ::)

Did I ever tell you fellers about "Ho-Maid" snack cakes and the kick I got out of them in college?

Well, sadly, someone told them what it means in todays slang vernacular and they are known as "Hom-Made" snack cakes. :(

Boy don't I wish!  They're coming down in price.  I guess I'll wait a few several more years.

I've read a few times lately that they will be coming down some more right after the first of the year.  guess I'll wait till the old T V gives up the ghost.  ;D
