What's the temp that time of year?

Good pictures, Major. Good ta hear yer back safe.

Evenin' Fellas.

The NC Match was a lot of fun. Enjoyed shooting with some friends we haven't seen for awhile and making new ones.

The Richard Petty museum was a neat place to visit. There was a nice collection of firearms which surprised me to see.  ;D
Are ya back home?

Got hit in the cheek by a bullet that came back offa the reactive target. Didn't draw blood. The target was about 25 yards away.
Both my fixed-sighted Ruger single action pistols were shooting 2-3" high at that distance.

Boy that was close and good that it didn't turn out worse!  What kind of bullets were you shooting?

I don't feed our dog brussels sprouts or cabbage before bedtime. Last time I did that, we hardly slept. The fumes almost burned our eyes. :D

Howdy Ya'll, we're back from NC.  Arcey ya should have seen them fried bologna samiches one of the venders wuz sellin at the shoot.  The slab of meat was at least 1 1/4 inch thick and boy wuz they good.  So good that they wuz all out of bologna before noon on Saturday.  The NC State match wuz great.  Good stages, well run and lots of venders...too many venders....now I'm broke.  Guess I need ta sell a bunch more loadin blocks.  We did OK at the match.  Trina wuz 1st Ladies FC, she also won pocket pistol, derringer, long range single shot, Long range lever action Rifle Cal. and Pistol Cal..  I came in 3rd FCD, 116 overall.  Boy them fellers that beat me wuz GOOD.  They placed in the 60s overall.  I didn't see the 2nd place winner shoot but the feller that won FCD wuz Kid Thunder from up in NH I think.  Now that feller can shoot the smoke ....FAST!  He must have x-ray vision or sumptin.  I alos won the Long Range Lever Action Rifle Cal.  Best time I ever shot that in, 5 hits, 200yrds, 13.71 sec.  I even suprised myself ;D

Make all the noise you want Stoney, I log out at night. ;D  They is all gone here also, just me and Rowdy and the cat, won't see the cat 'cept when I go down to change laundry or if she's sittin' on the top step rubbin' the dog, pretendin' like she don't like him.

My coffee should 'bought be done also.

Been trying to break the whole famn damily of this here habit.  The kids ask to watch TV and I say "What show.".  If'n they don't have a specific reason to turn it on, it stays off.  My bride likes to turn it on to her cookin' shows which I don't mind...till she falls asleep. ::)

With the exception of football and NCIS, I don't watch a lot of TV.   I do tend to check out the movie though. ::)

This brought a smile to my face.  My cat WAKKO pretends he does not like the dog.  They "fight" all the time.  Course the cat pretends to not like it, till the dog stops and then the cat will start it all again. ;D

Wife does the soaps ‘n game shows.  Daughter wants the ‘music’ stuff.  Both have better taste than Oprah or the other TV talk offerin’s.  For that I’m grateful.

Got my own stuff up here in the hay loft.  Watched the ‘Skins ‘n the Pats game live ‘n wiped off my guns.  Ya don’t scrub BP residue, no need to.  Taped the race ‘n watched that after the late game.

The ‘tube’ won’t be back on ‘til Friday when the prelims for Phoenix gets underway.

It’s pushin’ 0930.  Got things ta do. If I wake ‘em up they’ll just hafta get over it.
