Crow Scout.....
Are you doing a conversion on a 1851 model revolver or an 1860 with a rebated cylinder?
If it is the 1860, I posted a topic on this forum on how to make the ejector assembly for that particular revolver.
If it is for the 1851....I don't have anything available that I can show you...so....I would refer you to McDowell's book that shows everything you need.
If you don't have McDowell's book, let me know and I'll post the photos here.
I can tell you that unlike the 1860, the ejector tube is separate from the lug.
The lug is fitted (soldered I think) into the recess made for the loading lever.
The tube (which measures .450 in diameter) if fitted into a slot milled into the barrel for it.
If you have a friend that has a R/M conversion, or have access to one, it will be real close to that tube assembly.
The ejector rod measures .250 in diameter. The firing pin is a center fire cone type pin....I don't think the 1851's had a floating firing pin.
If you want to e-mail me with a list of what you need...I'll be glad to send you the information.
