New Hat, New Pistol, New Tintype....
« on: June 29, 2007, 05:28:29 PM »
Posted this over on the NCOWS forum.....

This ought to give the little kids nightmares......!!
This is a tintype I had made at the NCOWS National shoot this past weekend, Bob Hartsaw is the photographer....from Madison Indiana. His tintypes are sharp and in focus..... what a face!! ;D ;D

In the photo is my new Hickok (Hikok) hat from River Junction that I turned into the Texas Ranger hat that we've posted here so many times, complete with brain tanned buckskin hat strings. And, that is my just completed Richards type 1, that I finished just in time for this shoot and it functioned flawlessly.

Glad to hear it is a reversed image Bill,...cause, by the look on your face, I wouldn't want to be the one to tell you that you put the ejector rod on the wrong side of "ol Dick's revolver! ;D
