Hi Slim
Sorry for the confusion. The GAF website lists the criteria for the standard course of fire under the competition page.

Pitspitr Sir,

I think Slim means the typo in the web address:

should read  www.grandarmyofthefrontier.org/

"He who will not look backward with reverence, will not look forward with hope." - Edmund Burke

Sounds like a great time to be shooting in uniform!
My work schedule is tightening up and I don't see myself with any flexibility, any time soon.  Good thing I like my job.

Ya'll have a great one and know that I'll be wishing I was there.
Adios,

Thank you for being you.. Annie Lee!

Let's see, this weekend, the truck get's serviced and the ammo gets bought....AND, Jean at James Country should be getting my new Coat to me this week.  I just need to get hold of a metal Second Corps Diamond, a USSS Kepi sized wreath and an 1850 Foot Officer's Sword and my Sharpshooters outfit will be ready....

This sounds to be a very fun event.  I can't wait.....

1. Got the Truck Serviced
2. Bought the Ammo
3. Got my new Uniform from James Country
4. Got my new 1850 Foot Officer's sword
5. Got hotel reservations

Just waiting on that Sharpshooters patch for the kepi to come in.  Looked at the weather forcast and will definately be wearing wool next weekend.  I can't wait.  This shoot is going to kick fanny.

Well,

I was figuring on bringing it anyway.  The long range forcast is telling me to be prepaired.  One of those "Rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it" deals.

Now, all that said...

6. Got the guncart organized.
7. Cleaned out the truck.
8. Packed my Krag ammo for the GAF Qualification.

Will we have time to qualify with two firearms Sunday?  I was bringing the Spencer anyway, but might bring the Trapdoor carbine as well.
