Liberty Memorial Museum Opening OT
« on: November 19, 2006, 12:22:14 AM »
In two weeks the new museum at the Liberty Memorial in Kansas City, Missouri will open.  The Liberty Memorial has been designated the National WWI Memorial.  The new exhibits will open at Noon and there will be no admission charge on that day.  There will be many dignitaries from the US, UK & France.  I have heard from some who volunteer there that it is spectacular.  E-mail or PM if you want directions &c.

I visited it several years ago while they were in the process of restoring it following years of neglect.  It is certainly worth the visit if you are in the KC area.
