Spencer post war conversion
« on: March 10, 2019, 07:37:40 PM »
I have what I believe is an 1860 carbine that was modified post war.  It has 1860 markings but the barrel is now a 20” 3 grove 56-50 barrel.  I removed the forearm and it actually has 3 different serial numbers.  Anyone ever seen multiple serial numbers on the underside of a Spencer barrel?

You've got to post a photo of the serial #s, please!  If you can't do it, send the photos to me and I will post them for you . . . just make sure the serial #s can be seen OK and are sharp!
