It's been a little while since I've posted. But I love this forum so I want to share. I had a co worker make me a rifle stock cover for my 73. I absolutely love it. I had him do the full works on it. Sheridan style with sunrise color beading, and my initials in the corner. He is 100% Crow Indian which I think is kind of neat. I traded him a wood flag that I have a business on the side doing. God Bless!

One more photo. I'm really proud of this rifle and staging it with some of the decor I make. This photo is so American the only thing that's missing is Trumps's 'Make America Great Again' ball cap. Lol

I appreciate your flag too.  Is the field of stars made from wood too?

I carved all 50 stars with a chisel

Both of those things are works of art. I think it's great you were able to barter for it, too. Just like in the old days, trading with the Indians! :)

Hi

While not TRYING to be a jerk, but I'll probably be successful.  Anyway, when you shoot with that stock cover, does you cheek rest on it?  I.E. do you end up with Flowers on your cheek?  I'm considering a stock cover for a crescent butt 1886 in .45/70 and I'd rather ask than experiment on tooling the top of the stock cover.
