Reminds me of a funny story.
I was on a Posse where one fella liked to be a counter. Trouble was all he did was listen for dings while his attention was elsewhere. On one shooter he reported no misses, but what he did not
see was the targets were shot out of order.
Keep reminding all us spotters to use both eyes
and ears, as often being able to see that bullet make it's mark on the target somewhere is just as important as hearing a ding.
I swear some steel absorbs sound, or that some loads are subsonic.
Devil, maybe you could paint the lead bullet with Day-Glo Yellow. Or shout "Ding" after every shot.
