Being in the right place at the right time helps. The Iver Johnson is a 38S&W (larger one) the Hopkins Allen is 32 S&W.  I can never seem to pass on a deal but it helps that I am all over the place and in almost every gun shop in 15 counties. Luckily the wife thinks I only have 4 guns I use for CAS, doesn't know about the other 30.

I stumbled into a S & W .38 DA third model* yesterday at a gun show.  It is in excellent condition with the original box.

What would be a fair price?

I passed on a "Lemon Squeezer" for $399.00 and have lived to regret it. Oh well I guess I can't have them all.
