RSJ,
Saw your post to my Parfleche post in the Oldfashioned Way, thought I would catch you quicker here.  I did not find a metis parfleche, but the 1st is a Cree parfleche bag, the rest are designs I found.

Nolan, Thanks for the input.  I read that book on library loan when I made my two parfleches (see the old fashion way in Historical society).  I did have that file saved as Creebag, so it probably was labeled Teepee bag.   I will definitely look into the buffalo bone brushes.  I sold my two pouch-parfleches to a Kiowa friend and am thinking of making a folded one for myself, so I will need a brush.

Rattlesnake,
Here are a couple of parfleches from the Cree and Atsina. Both of these tribes lived together during the struggle of the Metis so they should be very close to what you are looking for, you can see the similarity in the two designs. This is the bear hand design. Since these two tribes were Aaniishina'bemowiin speaking you could also use the Bodowadomi (potowatomi), Ojibwe (Chippewa) or Odawa (Ottawa), since they were related by language and the designs will be similar. I have made a bunch of parfleche in my lifetime. If you are not going to make your own pigmented paints, I would suggest going to an art supply store and buying the pigments there, it adds much more authenticity then using latex or majic marker paints.
