Hello pards,

I was not happy with the wrong rear sight of my Henry as well as not happy with the existing rear sight of my 1876 Chappie..

So i attached the 1876 rear sight to my Lincoln and this works out quit nicely - with zero additional costs

I'm trying to figure out how the rear sight From a Chaparral is more correct than the rear sight original to your rifle.  Henry rifles were original with a flip up ladder rear sight, mounted either on the barrel or on the receiver.  The sight itself was the same   Just curious.

Sorry to confuse you

my Henry does not have the correct ladder rear sight. (Gone with the wind)

Thats the reason for this "cheap" solution using the Chappie sight..
