Shot the Richards-Mason some more today
« on: June 25, 2011, 10:32:30 PM »
Went from 25gr 3F to 27gr 3F in the .44colt...liightly compressed load. Really makes the lady sing,,and just destroys the red bulls-eye at 15yds.

I think this is going to be a really outstanding revolver.

Know what yer saying Marshall! Sort of have guilt feelings about not taking my top strap style SA revolvers or my cap an ballers out as much as I used to. Hope they don't have feelings! My OpenTop and Richards II seem to be favored right now as well. As I pointed out in your other post ref the OT and conversions "It's like shootin' cap an balls using speed loaders"!"  ;D ;D ;D

I agree, the more I shoot mine, the more they are becoming my favorite!  I have just a small bit of filing left on one firing pin and it should run just as smooth as the other one.  I'm shooting them funfighter this weekend with 44 Russians 1.3cc Goex.
Preacher of the Old Order Dunkards, down by the river, drop in sometime.

He needed a lot of baptizin' so I just held him under a little too long.  And your point is?
