I have no first hand experience with these people, but I hear they are "top notch".

For what it's worth, I ordered boots from Cavalry Regimental Supply probably twenty years ago.  They're still going strong!

Check with Missouri Boot and Shoe. They are somewhat pricey, but they're the best.

At MO B&S the people who answer the e-mails are the same people who make the shoes. Be a little patient.

no i given up on them , think going get  some stove pipes from fall creek and shape them up to 85 spec boot , what do you think gents would that work ??

Try CA Boots.  They make a wide range of boots and will customize to your specs.  I had them make me a pair of Officer Boots for my 1898 Uniform.  They did not cost over $400.

Listen!  Do you hear that?  The roar of Cannons and the screams of the dying.  Ahh!  Music to my ears.

Checked the Cavalry Regimental Supply Link.  They have pics of the 1904 marching shoe.  Did a little research and there was also the 1905 marching shoe with 11 pairs of eyelets.  Size 8 was 8 inches tall.  Got a pair of brown corcoran boots.  Look a lot like the 1905 but with 12 pars of eyelets and are 10.5 inches tall in size 9.  Once I put on the leggings the height disparity will disappear.  Got them for 114.00 shipped.  Have a dot gov work email so I could get the GSA pricing, think they are 125 regular.

These may be an option for CAS Wild Bunch and Mexican Punitive expedition folks.

I got a reply from them in just a couple of days, unfortunately they no longer can make the 1892 shoe I asked about. Seems an antique piece of equipment needed for them died, and they don't sell enough of the 1892 to justify buying a new one.
