Howdy Lonesome Henry!
Did you do the engraving work? I have looked (and looked only) at some fancy engraved rifles. But I don't, believe that I have ever caw onr that the design pattern flowed so well, and after studying them, they are 2 differnt rifles?
Is this some of your work I would like to see more!

They are so well done that one would not want to dare shoot them for fear of messing up the artistry. Incredibly beautiful. The closest I've ever come to engraving is to carve my initials & date on the back of a box turtle.

Somewhere in Northern Virginia is a decrepid old box turtle with TW 61 on it's back. We didn't know better. I was only 11.

Well at least the turtle wouldn't have any gold wire inlay that might comprimise its natural camoflage.

That is one fancy dancey '77.  I don't normally go for engraved stuff, but can really appreciate the artwork.  About as far as I would go if so inclined would be a buffalo on the right side of the receiver.  I hope to have an Axtell '77 one day soon, but right I'm waiting for my second Shiloh.  Weh mir oh weh (Oh woe is me).  ;D  The buttplate would leave a funny bruise too if it got ahold of you in the wrong fashion.
