Does anybody know where I can get the really large type? they hold about 10lbs. of bricketts.
I have tried Camp Chef and IDOS with no results.

Creek: Why not invest in 3 Weber charcoal starter rack tower deals. This might be close to ten pounds. you could stager your lighting technique and just keep going with charcoal till you get the amount. I know its' not tim the tool man taylor stuff but you could do it this way with out buying a huge unit. have you thought of how would you safely life a large mount visuvious sized burning hell and pour it into your cooker? I like the smaller muti unit idea, seems safer to me.

I was given one of them Big Charcoal starter from Academy Sports. By the time the top coals are lit you loose about 1 lb of bottom charcoal. Not worth it. I like using those Webber Charcoal Chimenys. I have 2 of them. When out camping or cooking for large groups, I place one 3/4 full of Charcoal and place on my Turkey Fryer Burner. In less than 5 minutes I've got coals ready to cook. Start next chimney for second oven and so forth. I did a Chili feed for about a 150 members of my Church & I had 2 Big MACA ovens (5 gal chilli in each one) 2-Lodge 16's just for Cornbread & 6-12" Lodge ovens for Deserts. Had a fellow keeping the Charcoal going for Me. My Wife,Son & 1 other Fellow mixing up batter for me. Everyone was Happy. Did this 2 years in a Row. Man thats a lot of work but a lot of FUN!!  We also Grilled 80 HotDogs too.  Really I would go with 2 or 3 littler ones. Wishbone-Ks

Ditto, to what wishbone said. We don't want to start calling you the Crispy cowboy after a terrible fire accident and you live.

Thanks for the input guys, 2 or 3 smaller starters sounds like the better and safer way to go.
