Range Conditions, Scarlet Mask Vigilance Society-UPDATE
« on: March 18, 2008, 10:39:19 AM »
Because of the heavy rains we've had the past several days, (we're expecting four to six more inches tonight and tomorrow), a couple of us are going down to inspect our range tomorrow to see if its possible to hold our scheduled meet this weekend. I'll post the result here tomorrow afternoon. I'll also call everyone that I have a phone number for, and also by e-mail.

Bill

Dave Hollandsworth and I just got back from trying to visit our range and the closest we got was about seven miles from it. The main road to the range is under at least four feet of water and the farms in the area look like they are floating on Lake Erie......

With more rain in the forecast we feel for safeties sake its best to wait until next month for our first scheduled shoot. Any of you that owns a canoe or bass boat are welcome to give it a shot......

Bill, I wouldn't be there regardless but I sure wish you well and hope that conditions are such you can shoot.

Very dissapointing news, but that is Indiana for you.   I really appreciate Bill and Dave going down to check things out and then to notify us all the March shoot is cancelled.    April will be a great month.
