Howdy pards,
I have a pocket knife that has "bone" or something similar handles, there are cracked and splintered. I was wondering if it is possible to replace the handles with something else? What tools would be needed? Level of difficulty? Is it something that I could hired done?

There's a book on this very thing available at the Public Library that's directed towards 'Case' pocket knives, but the information is valid for all.

It's 'not' easy, and guys who can do this are few and far between - and are quite proud of their abilities when they price out their work.
