Any one have an idea what a Ruger Blackhawk 45 Colt pre transfer bar is worth? It shows a small amount of wear on the back sight, almost no ring around the cylinder no wear on the end of the barrel, the grips are original and in excellent condition. Manufacture date 1971. I believe these were only made for 3 years. Looking at the barrel, cylinder and overall I would say it has had less than a box of cartridges put through it. wM1

Whatever market demands. I have seen one similar go for $1000. I have also seen well-used 3-screw models sell for $400 to $500.
Check Gunbroker.com. They come up quite a bit.

Thanks MG, this one belongs to an FFL that does transfers for me and he showed it to me a while back but does not want to sell it. wM1

Roger that. I have a couple of 200th Year Blackies that I want to hold onto too.

Shucks, I was wishing that someone would have came in with a closer price. But then from the way it was presented it's no different than calling your Doctor on the phone, telling him your arm hurts and you would like to know if it's broken.

I just picked up this unfired 45 convertible for $600.
