The bayonet arrived today, pretty serviceable. A little loose on the muzzle. Not knowing specs, cannot tell if hole in bayonet too large or muzzle of rifle too small. Locking mechanism works well but there is a little slop on the bayonet lug, again lug worn or slot on the large size who knows. Locks up well enough to cause problems if one is on the receiving end. Next problem will be finding frog for leather scabbard. Should think just about any mauser bayonet frog will work as we do not count stitches.
